Happy New Year!  We are sure you are all looking forward to the 2008 season as much as we are.  Boat Club renewal packages were mailed on 2/15/08.  For those boat club members who belonged to the club in 2007, your space will be reserved for you until 3/15/08.  After 3/15/08, membership will be open to new club members.  Beach Club renewal packages will be mailed by 3/01/08.

Even though it was 50 degrees outside yesterday, it still was not quite "beach weather", but getting closer.  There is still some ice on the lake which is melting and creating lots of fog!

Not really a beach day (or a boating day)!

Not a good day for a picnic either!

We apologize for the lack of news this past season.  Those of you who were members know the reason...actually, we guess it would be "reasons" (plural).  :-)

The winter season is upon us.  We are in the middle of the first major snow storm of the season with another big storm right around the corner.  If you don't have a snow brush and an ice scraper in your car, now would be a good time to take care of that.

For those of you who normally sit in the shade under the big tree, no worries of sunburn today!

The website has been getting a lot of hits for the last few weeks.  Everybody must be looking foward to next summer already!  We'll try to keep this page updated with pictures and insights into the Sandy Beach Club's off-season.  Check back soon!
